Less to leave behind.
OneTimeRead is built around a small, familiar problem: sharing something sensitive without keeping its text in a conversation forever.
A focused tool
The product is deliberately limited to text. You create a browser-encrypted secret, choose its expiration and send a one-time link. The recipient decides when to reveal it. There are no accounts or files to manage.
A clear separation
Public pages explain the service and support its monetization. The private workspace handles creation and reveal without third-party scripts, advertising, fonts or session recordings. This boundary is part of the architecture, not a setting the sender has to remember.
Honest about the limits
A one-time link reduces repeated access to the stored message. It does not prevent a recipient from copying what they see, and it does not replace careful credential management. Our security page explains those trade-offs.
